Anti-Racism Resources For Outdoor Advocates
There are a lot of resources to do anti-racism education and arguing that education will save us is a category error. With all that's been going on, I'm finding that we can’t just educate away a power system. Education is part of building new movements and coalitions but systemic changes have mostly come from social movements forcing organizations and the state to change. I've been sitting with this thought and holding conversations with BIPOC relatives on building new movements during and post COVID.
With all said, I'm sharing these for folks asking what they can do and where to start on the journey towards anti-racism advocacy. These resources aren't just for educating but also provide tools to build anti-racist collectives and deconstruct white supremacy in spaces.
